A Taste of Tomorrow, Today!
Man, doing this ura thing is actually not bad - so far... Although I'm not getting paid 1 cent (well, hopefully that'll change, but who knows...), this is my busiest term ever - everyday I'm doing or learning something new. Whether it be machining or trying to force LabView to run dlls or C code... Just today I left at like almost 9pm, but then again, I was literally watching Kuo doing all of the work as my C skillz just ain't l33t enough (and I don't usually leave that late...) Hopefully we'll (by we, I mean Kuo) finish soon so I can get cracking on my topic (OCTs and DMDs). But what I'm really glad for is that it gives me a taste of what grad may be like as I'm working with both a masters and a PhD student, so it's a good heads up for me. Oh yeah, the phd student is from China and the masters one lived in Japan for a year, so perhaps I can brush up on those languages, although I doubt it... Ah well, daijoubu...
Hrmmm, I'm now hooked on horror movies (preferably Japanese/Asian as they tend to be scarier...) Sigh, time to go as I've gotta actually make it to work by 9 tomorrow, instead of my usual 9:45-10am :D

Hey, have you watched cheesy original Japanese version of The Ring (ahahah, "Ringu")? Zen zen kowaku nai you. Sorry, my romaji isn't good at all. Ahahaha.
Iie, romaji is fine! But yeah, I watched Ringu, because I heard it was scarier, although I think the anticipation and the fact that I've seen the remake spoiled it for me as I didn't find it to be scary either :( However, Ju-on, the one made in 2000, I found was surprisingly freaky! The movies that I've seen so far are:
Ringu
Ju-On (The Curse)
Ju-On (The Grudge)
The Eye
One Missed Call
Korei
I have the sequels to both Ju-Ons, but have yet to watch those still ;)
